The Public Works Department is located behind the Municipal Building at 1929 Route 519. The Department is comprised of a director, a working foreman, three equipment operators, six laborers and one mechanic. The
Department is responsible for approximately 64 miles of roadway inclusive of paving, maintenance and repair, street sweeping, snow removal, leaf collection, storm sewers, sign replacement and line painting. All
parks, recreational facilities and playing fields are also maintained by the Department. In addition, the Public Works Department maintains and services its own equipment and all police vehicles.
