Spring Festival-2008
Friday - June 13th - “Softball for a Cause” Tournament
A tournament between local softball players, committee members/Township staff will play against the staff at ARC Human Services.
All proceeds will benefit the women’s shelter. Concessions and beverages will be available.
We will be collect cell phones, non-perishable food items as well as monetary donations.
North Strabane
Township will be holding our 7th Annual Spring Fling June 14th and 15th, 2008. This is a FREE event which is sure to entertain all ages.
The Parks and Recreation Booth will provide information on
upcoming recreational activities and the tentative Park’s plan.
The 1st and 2nd Cat’s Meow collector’s series pieces are still available at the Municipal Building. Shuttle Service is available for the event and Handicap Parking is accessible.
Kidz Korner and Teen
Mania areas are priced at $5.00 per child for admittance with all day/evening attractions. This is sure to be a hit with a variety of inflatables, a giant slide, The Rainbow Express Train, Greenfield Petting
Zoo, a strolling clown with balloon art and tattoos, as well as games, face painting, and food.
Saturday - June 14th 2008 - Noon - 11 PM and Sunday June 15, 2008 12-5 PM
*At 11:30 an opening ceremony
will include the presentation of community awards, recognitions and opening remarks from the Township Supervisors. the Cub Scouts will present the flags.
The Girls will perform from 12:00 - 4:00 PM
Billy Price will perform 6:15 - 7:45 PM
Glen Pavone & The Cyclones start at 8:15

SUNDAY- June 15th, 2008 - Noon - 5 P.M.

Paintball activities -Rock Band w/PlayStation 2-View yourself on an 8’ screen, a remote control car display, and games.
Other activities will include a dunk tank, home and garden attractions, craft and food booths, information booths, unicycle demonstrations, Fire Department Smoke House Demonstrations as well as a wing eating contest
sponsored by Auggie’s Restaurant.
